Shannon started swimming at the age of 5. She started on a summer swim team in PWSL and loved it. A year later she started swimming competitively at age 6 for Prince William Swim Club (Amberjax’s). At age 10 she switched to Occoquan Swimming (OCCS) and then later on switched to Machine Aquatics at age 14. She has swum in many USA Swimming meets like Sectionals, Junior Nationals, and Arena Pro Series meets around the nation. She has been working for Machine Swim School since February 2013 and couldn’t ask for a better job. She loves working with children and helping them enhance their swimming skills. Currently, she attends James Madison University where she is a D1 swimmer there, so you will only see her around in the summer time on her breaks. She will be getting her Bachelor’s in Heath Science concentrating in Public Health Education in the spring of 2017.
